We’re all ‘bag ladies’ and need to schlepp our stuff, so why not art up our bags with leftover fabric scraps, amiright?
This is a volunteer DIY project

DIY INSTRUCTIONS:
* Get a $1.49 Ikea Frakta shopping bag
* Cover the blue plastic inside and out by sewing fabric/scraps from your stash. Additional photos found on SSS Facebook group.
* OPTIONAL: You can disassemble / reassemble the bag for ease of sewing.
* Schlep to Dollem retreat and see other Ikea bags!
what to bring
Your all inclusive ticket includes most specialty art supplies needed to enhance your fabric surface design and dollem experience.
The BTK {Basic Tool Kit} and the Workshop Supplies are basic items found at hobby, craft or hardware stores.

What to Expect
What’s the hullabaloo about a Creative Communion retreat? The heart of the matter is creative immersion. Process vs Product. Experience vs Event. Deep Dive vs. Surface Skimming.
What does all this mean? You are considered a valued guest; one who is interested in expanding and strengthening talents, skills and interests with others. By making and creating you get to express feelings and explore new ways of being. In a collaborative circle of belonging, the artist instructor is also giving their expertise, inspiration and guidance. All of this is happening in a secluded nurturing environment where we can all learn, share and enrich the other.

Ticket Refunds
It is understandable that “life happens” and unforeseen circumstances may prevent you from attending a ticketed event. In the case where you cannot participate, please notify me as soon as possible. Due to event/instructor’s financial commitments, reservation/s and contract obligations, refunds are conditional on timelines.
Full refunds are available up until 180 days prior to the ticketed event date. If notification has been made up to or prior to DECEMBER 13, 2018. If you purchase a ticket after this date, please know you are making a non-refundable ticket purchase.
What if you can't come after you have purchased your ticket?
If there is a waiting list, I will put you in contact with the first person on the list to coordinate possible arrangements for the sale of your ticket. If a transaction is mutually agreed upon and completed, your spot in the event will be transferred to the other person.
In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, instructor cancellation or unpredictable circumstances notification will be made as soon as possible via text message, email and provided contact emergency information. Refunds will be given within 5 days of the date of the unexpected cancellations.
