You are buying a one of a kind handmade piece of art!
It’s created from a digital art tissue print made from personal snapshots of ordinary life; nature, street art, sacred objects, journal pages, personal art collection, found photos and/or royalty free stock images. Then layered over a compelling collage composition intentionally selected from vintage book pages, documents, and eclectic papers. Each piece has a gorgeous grungy perimeter and covered in endearing encaustic medium.
This art piece is currently on display at tend&flourish art gallery in Dayton, Ohio. After purchase I will pick up and prepare for shipping.
Measures: Art piece is 10" tall, 10” wide and 2" deep, wired and ready to hang.

We Built This
For several months the wax/resin will go through a curing process in which the surface continues to harden. During this time moisture and impurities may work their way to the surface causing a 'bloom' or matte look. Gently polish with a clean soft cloth (like fleece or cheap panty hose). Do not use cleaners or solvents. As time goes by and the wax/resin has had a chance to cure and harden it will keep its polished look. The wax melts and runs at 162°F. Do not expose your encaustic art to direct heat sources such has sunlight, fireplaces or cooking heat.
